Trinity's Staff

Dean O’Bryan, Pastor
Patty O’Bryan, Ministry Assistant
Dean came to Trinity in 1997. He and Patty met at Kansas State University, where both were highly involved in the campus ministry of The Navigators. Following college, they married -- a short time later they moved to Texas where Dean attended Dallas Theological Seminary.
After graduation from seminary, Dean and Patty served with OC International as missionaries in Germany. The ministry of OC there was assisting established churches, seeking to help them become healthier and evangelistic. Patty led a large weekly kids ministry and Dean established an “idea” newsletter for pastors and church leaders, met with pastors and led weekend seminars. After 8 years in Germany, they returned to the US and worked with Midwestern churches for 6 years through the ministry of Church Dynamics International.
After 8 months at Trinity as interim, Dean became the pastor. Alongside teaching (both Bible book and topical messages) Dean focuses on equipping men and leaders in walking with God and doing personal ministry.
Patty greatly enjoys the “pastor’s wife” role. She loves people, and loves to entertain and encourage them. The O’Bryan household currently includes Patty’s father and also their son Jeff – along with 4 pug dogs and one cat.
Patty serves as ministry assistant at Trinity; she keeps in touch with folks, coordinates communication, answers questions and encourages people from the office and at home, through cards and emails. She also loves leading Bible studies and equip other women in ministry. Exhortation and encouragement are her gifts; she speaks at retreats, goes with the “garage sale” ladies weekly, and volunteers with others at City Impact, People’s City Mission, and Food Net. She’s made great friends and has ministry in those organizations also.
